Joke Silva who was born in 1961, is a Nigerian actress and Movie Director. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, into a family of 4 children.She hails from Isale-eko (Lagos Island) though her mum, Dr. [Mrs]. Marianne Abimbola Silva, hailed from Abeokuta in Ogun State. She attended Holy Child College in Lagos after which she studied English at the University of Lagos. She then relocated to England and studied drama at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
